The Group of Legal Experts is made up of specialists in the Latin American legal field and international relations.

It was constituted in 2015 with the aim of preparing the Draft Statute, Prosecutor's Office and a Regional Investigation and Intelligence Agency of the Court to be proposed to governments for their complementation.
